DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our expansion across Europe, playing a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with our development teams to streamline deployment processes, elevate our CI/CD pipelines, and ensure our systems' reliability and security are rock-solid as we scale. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our growth and delivering top-tier services across the continent.
What you'll do
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS, including services like ECS, RDS, IoT, and VPC.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Monitor system performance and health using New Relic, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
  • Participate in a rolling on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support, ensuring critical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Support engineering teams in their day-to-day work by assisting with infrastructure, deployments, and answering technical questions.
Who you are
  • 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform on AWS.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS (including ECS, RDS, VPC, Organizations).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with backend services (e.g., Java/Spring Boot is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
