At Flatpay, we’re scaling fast across markets. That means our payroll and compliance setup needs to be just as scalable, reliable, and accurate as our products. We’re now looking for a Global Payroll & Compliance Analyst to help ensure correct payroll reporting and compliance across the markets we operate – currently Denmark, Finland, Italy, France, Germany and the UK.
You’ll be a key part of the Finance team in our Danish office and work closely with the People team, external payroll providers, and local advisors.
What you'll do
You’ll be responsible for ensuring payroll compliance across Flatpay’s markets — from gross-to-net data files to payroll reporting, shadow payroll, and employee secondments. The role calls for strong structure, business understanding, and a genuine interest in international payroll in an environment where processes are still being built.
Your key responsibilities:
- Collect, validate, and report payroll for all countries (e.g., gross-to-net files/data).
- Ensure correct payroll reporting in Denmark, including e-Income (e-Indkomst) and Danish payroll principles.
- Manage shadow payrolls for seconded employees in cooperation with external payroll providers and auditors.
- Ensure cross-border compliance related to social security, tax, and local regulations.
- Support data accuracy and reporting for seconded employees.
- Develop and improve checklists, processes and documentation to scale safely.
- Support audits, internal controls, and payroll-related compliance initiatives.
