Your role You will join our newly created strategy team in Milan as Commercial Excellence Analyst, turning data into smart insights and helping our business grow.
At Flatpay we make data driven decisions, and we have plenty of numbers to analyse!
What you'll do
Your responsibilities will include (not exhaustive):
- Sales performance analysis and reporting
- Develop new dashboards to monitor and generate actionable insights on sales performance (e.g., Conversion rates, sales funnel, quality of sales, bookings)
- Maintain and continuously enhance our suite of Power BI dashboards
- Data quality enhancement
- Continuously monitor and improve data quality (e.g., updating KPI definitions, highlighting data limitations and proposing solutions)
- Ad-hoc analyses
- Support Strategy and Commercial Directors with specific analyses to further improve Flatpay performance in Italy
- Salaries Support
- Prepare data files for field sales monthly payroll processes, including bonuses and commissions, based on previous month sales performance
- Market and competitive intelligence
- Perform detailed analysis of market (e.g., customer needs) and competitors, to further strengthen Flatpay competitive advantage
- Sharing of commercial excellence best practices
- Support in the creation of impactful training materials for the sales teams to support onboarding and new product launch
Who you are
What we’re looking forYou are someone who loves digging into data, solving problems, and turning complexity into clarity.
You have:
- A degree in Economics, Business, IT, Mathematics, Statistics or something similar
- 1–3 years of experience with Excel
- Analytical mind and a love for numbers
- A curious mindset and openness to new tech
- Experience working independently in a fast-moving environment
- 1–3 years of experience with PowerBi and/or SQL is a strong plus
- English is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills – especially when explaining data in simple terms – are a plus
- A good understanding of business and commercial logic is a plus
