We’re looking for an ambitious and curious BI Analyst for our office in Milan, who loves transforming data into insights and developing value-adding solutions to support our growth journey!
You will be part of our Group BI team, working closely with colleagues across markets to build and maintain scalable data solutions. While embedded in a central function, your location in Milan will play a strategic role in strengthening local data adoption and usage, ensuring that insights are tailored to support the Italian market’s needs while contributing to Flatpay’s broader data strategy.

What you'll do
As a BI Analyst at Flatpay, you’ll be juggling various tasks related to analysis and reporting on diverse data sets, along with playing a crucial role in maintaining and further developing bonus models for our commercial business. With your expertise, you’ll revise and develop our existing models, ensuring that we meet business needs and stay ahead of best practices and technologies.
 
Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining and building bonus models for all market areas in Flatpay.
  • Ensuring data quality and accuracy through testing and validation of data.
  • Developing reports and dashboards (mainly in Power BI).
  • Support on data transformations and data pipeline (dbt & Fabric).
  • Support the local Italian business with ad hoc analysis.
  • Contribute to shaping a future-proof solution of our data infrastructure.
Who you are
To succeed in this role, you must have flair for programming along with experience in Power BI and SQL. You are naturally curious, and open to embracing new technologies to streamline your tasks. You possess a solid understanding of business processes and thrive when working on connecting business needs with complex analytical solutions. You’re used to working independently, passionate about delivering results continuously, and comfortable navigating an agile environment with a high pace.
 
Moreover, we imagine that you have:
  • 1-3 years of experience in data processing and visualization using Power BI.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Great stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to communicate financial and analytical concepts in an understandable way.
  • A higher education degree in economics, IT, data analytics or another relevant field.
  • Great business acumen and a commercial mindset.
